This review is from: The Times and Sunday Times (Kindle Edition)
I tried all three quality dailies before deciding on a subscription and have opted for The Times/Sunday Times. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to see The Guardian on the kindle as well but that paper is not available as a kindle edition yet. Firstly the price at 9.99 is less than a third of the price one would have to pay for the paper edition, so complaints about lack of images etc have to be taken in context. The times contains most of the articles and features of the ordinary paper and to be honest, as you are reading a newspaper and not an image paper the lack of images do not really bother me.
The features, columnists and opinion pages are intact as are business, sport and world/national news as well as the supplements you would get with the Saturday and Sunday editions.
The Telegraph is good and my choice of the Times is no reflection on the quality of The Telegraph, more a personal preference for the writing style, features and columnists of The Times.
I have a soft spot for The Independent and did enjoy my trial but feel that the price does not justify the subscription when compared with the other two. I think you should take advantage of the subscriptions to decide what is right for you, after all it is free for 14 days. For me The Times came out on top and at 2.50 a week to get the paper on my kindle early each morning is an excellent deal. I will be sticking with The Times, however should The Guardian appear on the kindle then I will be re-considering, providing the price and quality are competitive.

I came back to this page to see if things had improved since I last looked many months ago. Looks like no-ones listening to customers. Thanks for the post, if people like you didn't comment I might mistakenly have signed up. Thanks

Useful review unlike the person who asked why I didn't want the 'free' broadsheets. I have been a Times reader off and on for over 50 years. What about the crossword? It's usually only available to Crossword Club subscribers from The Times but, as the Kindle edition is an Amazon product it may not be available.
