To put it simply, you must own this record, if only as a taster of this band's catalogue. See it as an aid as to which album to buy first..
Over the space of the last year or so i have has the pleasure of seeing these guys twice; once at wolverhampton with the amaizing pignut and lubby nugget, and then secondly on the concrete jungle stage. i can totally agree with one of the other reviewers and NME (for the first time probably) that they were one of the best bands of the weekend (maybe beaten by the fabulous mad caddies).
Best tracks.... i have to say that she has a girlfriend now is brilliant, catchy, upbeat fun at its best, while beer is just as energetic but with a semi-serious side.
support the ska scene! by buying main-stream-ish albums like this, it will only help to improve the status of them many great and unpopular punk and ska bands around at the minute. to quickly name a few, if you liek this stuff, you must get at least one album from the following; lubby nugget, mad caddies, big d and the kid's table, pignut, save ferris and of coarse the obvious fat wreck and epitaph bands.
