4.0 out of 5 stars very nice little camcorder, 23 Nov 2010
This review is from: Flip Mino HD 3rd Generation 60 minutes recording, 4GB Memory & Image Stabilisation - Brushed Metal (Electronics)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a very nice little Flip Mino HB camcorder which is no bigger than my mobile phone and very light so it's ideal to put in your pocket or handbag and not have to worry about extra weight. This one has 60 mins recording time and a 4GB memory which is fine for me, but I also see there is another one that has double the recording time and double the memory for a very similar price, so you might want to consider that one if you feel you need the extra.

It's very easy to use and I have already tested it out by taking some short videos and uploading them to facebook and some other websites all without even needing to read the instructions. I gave it four stars instead of 5 purely because you have to charge it up via the USB port on your computer, and while that is good idea on one hand, it also means that you need to have your computer switched on to do it, and this could also be a problem if you are away from home without a computer. Otherwise I think it's great and would be a nice little stocking-filler at Christmas. Plus my nephew said it was "cool" so it has to be good.

You don't have to use the computer to charge it up.
You can buy a "USB Charger" for under £5 and use that instead. (It is the size of a 13A plug with a USB socket in it).
