This review is from: Robert Ludlum: The Bourne Trilogy: The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum (Paperback)Here it is the Bourne saga put all into one Volume. I had trouble reading the 1,400 pages because I found it all a bit too much.
The first story `The Bourne Identity' I always thought the best of the three. It is a real page turner and I literally read it one go. It is an excellent story and definitely five stars.
Book two `The Bourne Supremacy' is the one I could happily do without. The plot of the story is so weird it is bordering on the ridiculous. One star at most.
Book three `The Bourne Ultimatum' fits better in with the first book. And it is actually quite a good story, even if some readers feel that it drags a bit towards the end. But I still think it deserves four stars.
You can leave out the `Bourne Supremacy', which you don't actually need to read because the story's outline is recounted in the `Bourne Ultimatum' to explain things anyway. Apart from that, the rest of the Volume is still a decent read.
