Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Lanced: The Shaming of Lance Armstrong (Kindle Edition)
I started this book almost hoping that Lance Armsrong wasn't guilty of being a drug cheat since I have been a fan of his
for years, really wanted to believe in him. It soon became clear from the evidence presented that he was in fact, a cheat
and probably far from being a nice man.
I found it quite interesting and informative to start with, and was quite impressed with the persistence of those who suspected
him from the start. That said, the book then became very repetitive with the same facts being presented by different
journalists but I struggled on to the end and concluded that if I had just read the closing account, I would have known
just as much as ploughing thro' the whole lot.
In other words, it would have made a better read in a condensed form.
Still, glad I read it to dispel any lingering doubts I had about Lance Armstrong' I thought the title Lanced was very apt

It's a real shame. I guess it was all too good to be true.
