Hot and Passionate,
This review is from: Never Too Hot (Hot Shots: Men of Fire) (Kindle Edition)
My summary of the book - Still recovering from his near fatal accident two years before Connor escapes to the family cabin to rebuild it and be alone but instead he finds Ginger at the cabin and his quiet world evaporates. After a clash of wills they end up sharing the cabin and soon the passion ignites between the pair and they can't seem to get enough of each other.
Thoughts on the characters - Connor is still suffering after his accident and is trying desperately to get back where he was before. He is so determined and pushes himself too much but won't face up to anything which makes him angry and lose control. Ginger manages to get to him and he soon releases some of the tension from within him but he can't completely give himself fully to her.
Ginger has had a rough life and came to the cabin to make her own life and she has fallen in love with the place. When Connor arrives it changes her life and throws her off course. She sees the best in him and tries to get him to talk about his past and let the anger out.
Both are strong and stubborn which causes friction and passion between them. They clash and it takes everything in them to finally come together and be what they really want.
Thoughts on the writing style - Very easy to read and full of passion to make you carry on reading. The way the sex scenes are written helps you really imagine it and absorb it.
Overall thoughts - Really good book for the last one in the series and love how Connor overcomes his problems to find his happiness.
