Teaser to a story, you'll need the rest of the series to finish the only story arc.,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Case of the Secret Admirer (Eve Snow Psychic P.I. Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
I missed the part where it said it was only 60 pages long, so I'm writing it here just in case you do too.
This isn't a story, this is a section of a story, there's no real plot development, the biggest story arc is her having an argument with her bf and him deciding to stay at his sister's for the night, but only one because (character development!) she can apologise.
Nothing is resolved, not even close to it, and she doesn't even do any PI-ing, all the important facts are handed to her by a ghost.
Feel free to skip the 1st 2 pages of chapter 1, it's just sex involving more adjectives than are used in the rest of the book, you can jump to the decision to shower (which is much more emotionally connected and shows much more about their relationship) with no loss to the little story there is.
"It's free" you may say. So are blurbs. I am sufficiently disinterested in the characters and the whodunnit to not bother investigating the rest of the 'series'. For a supposed 'hook-book' this fails, utterly.

I totally agree with you, I hate authors who can't be bothered to publish a complete book. Thanks for your honest review, I won't be reading this or any other books by this author.
