not varied enough,
This review is from: How to Draw 101 Animals: Easy Step-By-Step Drawing (Paperback)
whilst this does as it says on the tin, and provides 101 animals to draw, it would have been useful if it could have incorporated some way of combining template animal bodies that would match lots of animals (say cat, dog, rabbit; zebra, horse, cow etc) and have them in varying poses, adding then different heads of different animals, again using a basic generic animal shape for the similar type of animals, and showing how you can change expressions by changing eye shapes etc, and showing how you can change from one animal to another by varying the nose, eye's ears etc.
It's great if you want to draw one lion, dog, cat etc, and always have it the same, but as I say doesn't show ways of making simple changes to generic shapes to end up with a multitude of animals in a multitude of poses and expressions, which would have been very simple to do.
