E L James must be rolling in money for a book in my opinion is only average: the hype surrounding this book is the only reason its sold well. but that's the negative out of the way- yes the book is poorly written however its still a compelling book that i read after a couple of hours of buying it because i didn't want to put it down. the main character Christian is 'deep' and though provoking and the Ana is the typical innocent female who meets a strapping man... fill in the blanks. i will say that the next two books have a better plot but the authors writing becomes even worse as she is obviously running out of new vocabulary.
