This review is from: Bradshaw's Railway Folded Map 1907 (Old House) (Map)
As an historical document (to accompany the same publishers Bradshaw's Railway Guide) this map is fine. But the sheer proliferation of Edwardian rail lines in 1907 coupled with the paper stock size/single black ink used to print it out impairs reading/understanding of the system. But there is a solution! Get back on to Amazon and buy the "Railway Atlas Then and Now" by Smith and Turner and published by Ian Allan in 2012. Whilst it compares the UK rail system of 1912 with 2012 it is a proper Atlas (large scale, multi page, multi colour) with a huge amount of supporting data on the 'state-of-play' of the current rails and what has become of the 1912 one.
