This review is from: TensCare Dry Night Trainer Bed Wetting Alarm (Personal Care)
This worked far better than the other (far more expensive) alarm we tried, which had a single sensor that you had to somehow fix into pants and a bulky, uncomfortable alarm box that had to be put into a pyjamas pocket (who has those?). This has two parts which clip either side of pants fabric and when the fabric becomes wet, an electrical connection is made - very simple. The alarm is in the (quite funky-looking) watch, so it's not uncomfortable, and the wire threads up through pyjamas and is quite un-noticeable. The alarm is not loud though and you will have to sleep in the child's room until the magic has worked. You can put a nappy on over the pants - a very important consideration to avoid wet beds. It took a month for our 7 year old to be dry but he enjoyed having the alarm, which he hadn't with the previous one. He's not particularly careful, neither are we at 3 in the morning, but it proved completely robust. The battery didn't run out. I'd really recommend it.
