I've been a fan for a long time and although in the past some tracks have required listening to a few times before they have grown on me they always have. Not so with this album, I've listened to it several times now and it just isn't doing it for me. For me there is nothing really original here compared with say, Witness on Surfacing or Possession on Fumbling. Sarah said in the interview that this album was produced really quickly unlike her usual work which takes years - maybe that is the problem, for me it feels rushed and several of the tracks are so similar I struggle to differentiate between them. My husband who is less of a fan but usually finds some tracks he really likes commented that her lyrics are usually really strong but on this album they seem very contrived, maybe the problem is that she let Pierre write too many of them. Bring on the Wonder was my favourite and as someone else has already commented that wasn't written by Sarah.
