Another excellent novel in the series,
This review is from: French Pressed (Coffeehouse Mysteries (Berkley Publishing Group)) (Mass Market Paperback)
I've just finished French Pressed and i have to say i really enjoyed it.
In this installment Clare's daughter is the person accused of murder so Clare not only has her normal nosy reason to solve the crime, but also an emotional one.
This installment had a lot more tension between Clare and her two love interests, Matteo and Mike. It also went into more depth with Clare's daughter Joy which i really liked. All the characters in this series are well written and likeable, i always want to know more about them and can't wait for the next chapter. Especially once you read the cliff-hanger at the end of this book!
As usual there are loads of descriptions of the coffee and food being served which really makes you want to go out to your nearest coffee shop! Luckily there are some fab recipes in the book for you try out at home as well.
I need to mention that i haven't read this series in order and it doesn't seem to make much difference to my enjoyment. They're definitely not a series that needs to be read one after the other religiously.
