Lovely recipes for family meals,
This review is from: Ella's Kitchen: The Cookbook: The Red One (Hardcover)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This cookbook is aimed at parents to use with their children. It is not a cookbook for young children, it is the kind of book that you look at with your child. It gives tips on how to talk about food such as 'how does fruit and veg grow?'
Older children like my nine and eleven year old would be able to make recipes from it though, independently.
What I like about the book is that the recipes are tasty, relatively simple and nicely presented.
The book has a foreword by the founder of the Ella's Kitchen company as well his daughter Ella - the inspiration behind the setting up of the company. It gives the book a nice family feel, and there are a couple of pages on how to use the book with your children.
There are some lovely stickers at the back of the book to reward your helper cooks, I would recommend this book to people who want to spend some quality time cooking or preparing food with their children, or the book would also be good for older children who want to follow some simple recipes independently.
