This is a really interesting book about exercise science and the effects of exercise on the human body. Although it is a 'text' book, it is immensely readable, written in a chatty style with easy explanations of technical or difficult terms. All the information is backed up by creditable research and takes away many of the myths and legends about exercise. Sensible advice without making you feel inadequate because you don't exercise all day, every day! Really good read, really good information, really good common sense! If you are interested in exercise and health it is definitely worth giving it a go.
