I will wait for individual releases.,
This review is from: Indiana Jones The Complete Adventures (Limited Edition Collector's Set) [Blu-ray] [Region Free] (Blu-ray)
I love Indiana Jones. I really mean that I absolutley adore these films they mean more to me then any other series of films.
However, Kingdom of the Crytal Skull is not an Indiana Jones film and shouldn't be included in this blu-ray set. They might have called it an Indiana Jones film but they completley twisted the character from a man who encompassed qualities of bravery, debeonair, chairm, humour, strength, comppassion and above all inteligence instead they turned him into a bumbiling oaf. He is not the Indy I remember as a child and he is not the man he once was. The story is missplaced, the CGI an afront to the nature by which the Indiana Jones tales take from classic adventure stories. The acting is even poor throughout the movie with Shia as Indy's son a disstressing sulking mess. It is the worst film in the world with the name attached from the best series of films ever made.
So I will buy the Indy blu-rays but when they come out individualy and I can accumulate what in my mind is the actual box set of Indiana Jones movies. I hope one day they do make a new Indiana Jones movie but one that does not recognise Kingdom of the Crytal Skull as cannon and if it is required maybe a return to a younger Indy with Sean Patrick Flannery reprising the role of Indiana Jones representing Indy as a similar age as when the original series of films are set now Flannery is older. That is how the stories could have being continued and how they should have being continued.

Get over it, it's JUST a movie!

A bit dramatic aren't you? What would you say to the boxset of your favourite TV show where it contains one bad episode? Leave it out and make it available separately? Good or not the fourth film continues on from the first three so it only makes sense to be included. My two cents.

I've never heard such denial on something existing. "quite simply" it IS an Indiana Jones movie. And honestly, if anything it "continues" and connects the original trilogy to each other more than any other film in the series did. Not saying it's great, I still found some parts enjoyable. Whatever helps you sleep at night and make sure your indiana jones shrine is still holy.
I love when you infer that Sean Patrick Flannery embodies the character better than Harrison Ford.
Sorry but this film will always be in cannon. Indy and Marion had a kid and went on one more adventure before getting settling down and having their happily ever after. really sucks!!

I thought Crystal Skull was better than Temple of Doom. I don't see anything wrong with it and to give this collection a 1star for one of the films is just daft. Its a pretty sweet collectors edition

You are supposed to be commenting on the product, not the movie.

It is. It's the fourth Indiana Jones movie. It stars the same actors, it was made by the same people, it is officially a sequel. Why on earth would you ever expect they should leave it out?
