I would have named this "Getting Started in Creative Photography",
This review is from: New A-Z of Creative Photography: Over 50 Techniques Explained in Full (Paperback)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Lee obviously knows what he is talking about in this book, there is plenty to get your creative juices flowing, but the book suffers from being too short, 240 pages would have allowed for some bigger pictures (always a great asset to a book like this).
The design of this book somehow feels open and cramped at the same time, it really needed the extra space and some more detail on some of the subjects for instance Candid Camera gets 3 small images and 2 pages, this is a rich and very diverse subject which covers all ages and speaking of which where is the practical legal advice for taking Candids of children or in other countries, things that could land you in hot water!
Criticism aside, this is a good book to get started with and it's priced affordably so as long as you don't buy this thinking that it's the only book you'll ever read on Creative Photography, it is a good choice!
It's more a 3 and a half star rating than 3 though!
