Overpriced and sharp edges,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Fladen Outdoor Home Smoker (Sports)
The item was delivered and I unpacked it. The first thing I found was that the edges on some parts are actually sharp, in fact I will have to draw file the parts to stop people cutting themselves. The "leaflet" was basic to say the least, and No mention of the fuel type one should use, or safe usage, and how to fill/burn it?
Sorry, but again Fladen has proved to be second rate.

OK, so............... says:
Don't you think one star may be unduly harsh though? Plus Fladen are actually very good quality for the price (I cant speak for their rods and reels but everything else I've bought from Fladen has been just fine), the products are not second rate or cheap and nasty. Thats just my opinion though, you may be talking about some products I have not tried yet. Is the smoker really that bad to warrant one star for sharp edges and a poor instruction guide? Most guides that come with products are not that great and there is always Google or various fishing or outdoor forums. So come on - 1 star, why not just send it back and get a full refund if its that bad? I was thinking of buying this and reviews are important to me including your review. Aside from the edges which can easily be cut proofed and the manual, is this a good smoker?

I suppose the question is, Should you need to take off sharp edges, ?, suggest you buy one, and with luck, yours will be ok, then comment

Even I have managed to work out that it burns meths, but what I'm interested in is, 'Does it smoke food reasonably well'?
