A very good introduction to the person-centred approach,
This review is from: The Person-Centred Approach: A Contemporary Introduction (Paperback)
This is written by practising person-centred therapists associated with Temenos Sheffield, a well-regarded centre for training in the approach. It's an up-to-the-minute commentary on Carl Roger's original theories as to how humans develop, how we relate to others and within groups, and how person-centred therapy can be a powerful way to promote growth. Highly recommended for would-be counselling students and for practising counsellors.
