For fans of Stephen Fry only, perhaps...,

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This CD is a one-off programme from Stephen Fry's Radio 4 series 'Fry's English Delight'.
In the main series, he takes an often wry and amusing - and always informative - look at the complexities of the English language, but this disc features an hour long special in which he looks at word games.
The nation seems to be divided into those who consider Stephen Fry to be a constant delight and genius and those who consider him an omnipresent annoyance. I fall firmly into the former camp and was thus looking forward to listening to his educated tones. It's good stuff, and definitely worthwhile as a radio programme; but at this length, the BBC is testing its audience's patience (and pocket) just a smidgeon.
It goes without saying that it is best avoided if you consider Stephen to be an overpaid, over-publicised bore; but for fans of the great man (and you can count me among their number), it's just about a worthwhile purchase.
