Punk and Poetry,
This review is from: Punk and Poetry (Audio CD)
This album is Ok, to be generous.
It definitely doesn't have the same unique style as the first two albums and in a way I feel they have lost meaning.
I mean, there are songs which promote good causes, like 5 bottles of shampoo, which isn't even new, and shooting fascists is a unique, qwerky way of putting across a good point, however I feel this band's songs are, in a way, trying too hard to be 'punk'.
Yeah the government aren't perfect, but there are people who would (and have) killed to have a democracy like ours.
I don't really think there is a place for punk bands in todays society when there are people in Libya and Syria etc. fighting for their rights.
