Not for big hands or thumb grippers.,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Razer Naga 2014 Expert MMO Gaming Mouse (Right Handed) (Personal Computers)
Bought this as my original Naga is starting to get a bit worn, though it still works well enough. This new Naga is an excellent product, well made and tracks beautifully and accurately regardless of what it is i'm doing.
The problem lies in the side buttons. They are so light and sensitive it is impossible to rest your thumb anywhere near them. I like to rest my thumb on the side and also use it to grip the mouse (very lightly) when i want to move it around including when i'm playing games. There's absolutely no chance of this on the new Naga. It forces me to keep my thumb away from the side of the mouse when i don't want to use the buttons which then causes my thumb to ache. Even the slightest unintended contact will trigger whatever activity/spell etc you have bound to any of the buttons.
If you're someone who doesn't place their thumb in this fashion and are more comfortable rolling the mouse around with only their palm then this shouldn't be an issue for you and it will be an excellent purchase. I would suggest however you make note of how you actually hold and move a mouse to see if this would be an issue for you and whether or not you can live with it comfortably before you purchase.
Also i have quite large and long hands and preferred the two extra buttons in their top left position on the original Naga. They were near perfect for my index finger. The repositioning of the buttons directly behind the mouse wheel has rendered them useless for me as i can't possibly curl my fingers enough to use them unless i move my hand to a completely different position on the mouse and then move it back. Not much use for fast reaction gaming.
Shame but it's heading for eBay i'm afraid.

Thanks for this review. I have big hands. It sure is hard finding decent big enough mice these days.
