If you could buy these new they'd be great. Unbeatable, in fact.,

This review is from: GERMAN ARMY ISSUE FLECKTARN COMBAT TROUSER, SUPERTOUGH (Misc.)
These would undoubtedly get a five star rating if they were brand new. As it stands, they get a four star rating because they were well worn in the knee and worn out in the crotch. Also, the fly didn't stay up so they had to be disposed of after a few months hard use. But aside from this, they were fantastic. The material really is supertough, superthick, superwarm and superprotective for tasks such as gardening. The thigh pockets were vast and easily big enough to take a 400g pack of custard creams from Tesco Express! (This is why they are also called cargo pants) They open via press stud which is a lot easier than some button systems. I eventually bought a pair of new reproduction pants which are good but I wish I'd had these repaired as they are 100% cotton canvas. The flecktarn camouflage pattern looks very cool and they do make a bit of a statement. I once had a passing schoolboy ask me where I got my combats. Plenty of people drive a German car so why not wear German (Army combat) pants?! I think the clue's in brackets!
