'Grand' Turismo 3, 'cos it sure is!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Gran Turismo 3: A Spec (PS2) (Video Game)
GT3 was the first game I got with my PS2 in july '01, and I played it non stop for weeks. So far I have completed about 75% of the game, and in total there is well in excess of 100 hours of gameplay. If ever there was a game to become a recluse for, this is it several times over.
There are far too many good points to mention, including the best graphics you ever did see, nearly 200 cars, unlimited amounts of competitions etc, and who can forget the beautiful F1 race cars, joy, complete and utter joy.
But I suppose all reviews should have good and bad points, so after hours of racking by brain I came up with just 2:-
-the super licence is far to difficult to master, especially the graduation test. And without completing the super licence the magic that is F1 racing is just beyond your reach.
-secondly there are far too few tracks which could almost, yes I did say 'almost' start to make you get bored after a while. A very long while I hasten to add.
In short this game is a bargain unlike no other. Pleasure like this needs to enjoyed. Period!
