Re: Caveat Emptor,
This review is from: Twentieth-Century Scottish Poetry (Paperback)
My review will be no more helpful than the above. The point of rating a book is not to grind your axe about the publishers and rebranding but to rate what is inside, what is chosen or written; whether Dunn has edited an anthology worthy of the name, the choice of poets and poems and the core of understanding in his subject matter is what makes the book, irrespective of who published it, when they published it or even why.
Douglas Dunn succeeded although whether you buy this book or The Faber is no one's choice but yours.
