Perfect if you want to avoid injuries!,
I always had problems with my knees and feet (as one side of my body is shorter than the other). Running was always about being careful for where and how I land on my feet as even the smallest twist or a tiny stone on the road could cause a pain for days. This strap has amazing cooling effects. It holds your patella in a place so it doesn't move the wrong way (which usually causes swelling and soreness). I suffer with plantar fasciitis (pain inside of your foot under your heel) and strapping works wonders. If you are starting to run (or thinking about it) - this is definitely a must item!
Just make sure you always round the edges (to stop it from coming off your skin).
When your muscles get used to running, you won't need this. But it is very much worthy to avoid injuries from the start as the pain can be unbearable and frustrating otherwise!
I now can run for an hour with no problems and I occasionally still use the strap for my knees. If only I knew about this strap from the start...
