Great packaging : Terrible product - Avoid at all costs and go else where.,
This review is from: Razer Kraken 7.1 Surround Digital USB Gaming Headset (Accessory)
Having owned a lot of headsets relating to gaming over the past 15 years, these are among the worst I've ever experienced.
1) The ear cups are perfectly round, meaning that it sits on the hear rather than over the ear. This is forcing the ear against your head rather than leaving them in a natural position. Not normally a problem for smaller on-ear headphones but these are large and point 2 below.
2) These headsets are tight fitting. They squash in on your head very tightly. You can go moshing wearing these and they won't fall off, but how often do you throw your head about whilst gaming? yeah exactly not often. For those people wearing glasses these are REALLY uncomfortable as they are tight and on top of the ear meaning it's pushing the ear and the glasses into your head.
3) The cabling on these (and many of Razers products) is terrible. The cabling is excellent on a mouse but when used in a head set it means LOTS of noise travels up the cable each time you move and it rubs against your clothes, or it bangs on something. It's a terrible noise to have to put up with each time you shift position in your chair.
4) The little mute button on the microphone, although a nice idea, is poorly designed for left handers and isn't comfortable to use.
All-in-all, I am really disappointed with Razer, and this isn't the first product from them that I've brought and got the same outcome. Razer just lack quality, they are wannabies in the game of premium gaming products as proven by this headset.
The only reason they get 1 star beyond the fact that this is the minimum I can rate it, is because the packaging was very nice when unboxing. But the experience rapidly falls down hill after this.

Where are the positives? Or rather, where are the comments on the actual performance of the headphones? Many other people aren't having your issues, your review is terrible.
