it's okay but lacks 'story',
This review is from: Ian Brown: Already in Me - With and without the "Roses" (Paperback)
Writing a book about Ian Brown (I'd imagine) was always going to be hard in terms of access and detail, but this is almost like a journalistic report, rather than a book with deep insight.
The Author is a bit sycophantic, which doesn't help and I came away wondering if I had learned much about Ian Brown himself as most of the details seem to be based on hearsay, conjecture and a slightly biased commentary.
That said, if you are looking for an overview, this book reads well and I got through it quite quickly based on the easy going style of writing.
Always going to be one for the fans though.
