Excellent picture quality, lightweight model and easy to install.,
This review is from: Samsung UE32F5000 32-inch Widescreen 1080p Full HD LED TV (Electronics)
***Please note my review is for the 32 inch Samsung TV and not the 42 inch - Amazon have lumped the reviews together for both models and I don't want to confuse anyone.***
I already own a larger Samsung which has been incredibly reliable with continually good picture/DVD quality. I'm a fan of Samsung TVs because of their slim, modern 'no frills' design and ease of use. When I needed to replace an old TV I compared several makes but only this one fitted the bill and was certainly the best model in this price range.
Took three of us to lift the old TV out of the house and I was dumbfounded when this one was delivered and the guy handed the parcel over in one hand. It's so light I stripped the packaging, screwed the base together and fitted the TV to the base in minutes. Set-up for SKY box took possibly one more minute, no more than selecting a few on-screen options. If you aren't too sure there's a user guide included in the pack but it couldn't be easier to fit and install.
I'm particularly impressed with the brightness sensor, you need to access the TV menu and make sure it's switched on, as I've not had to adjust the brightness once and the TVs next to a large window which proved a nightmare for the picture quality on my old model.
This isn't a smart TV, that's not what I wanted, and there's no 3D which doesn't bother me at all because I don't enjoy 3D movies. The Samsung UE32F5000 32-inch TV is a good quality piece of kit with great picture quality, full HD 1080p, and compatible for use with a USB memory stick if you want to access music, photos, videos etc.
Worth mentioning that the only cable supplied with the TV is the power cable. You will need to purchase HDMI/scart cables separately. I'm more than happy with this Samsung model and would certainly recommend.

Colin G. Bradley says:
32" mentioned in the review. I suppose there is some licence at Amazon to lump in all sizes for the same model?

Hi Colin. I have the 32 inch tv and that's what I reviewed. I've just checked on Amazon and it looks as though they've bundled the reviews for the larger and smaller sets into one lot. I'll put a note at the top of my review to point out what size I'm reviewing and thanks for the comment. Might save some confusion.
