This review is from: Could it be B12?: An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses (Paperback)
Before reading this book I knew nothing about B12 or the dire effects of its deficit on our brains, nerves and bodies. I found it an excellent information source on types of B12, absorption of the three forms and which form is to be preferred for oral therapy and why it is that one's body can be awash in B12 so that high normal serum levels are obtained yet by the failure of the carrier protein transcobalamin-2 which transports B12 to the cells deficiency can still exist undetected by blood serum tests. I urge anyone with tingling hands and feet or other symptoms of B12 deficiency (all detailed in this book)to buy this invaluable book and learn what is going on.
