Takes patience, but it pays off,

I'll start with saying I will agree with other reviews mentioning that the AMD screws seem too short, you do have to put a large amount of pressure on the mounting brackets to get the screw to meet with the feed - so much so it took two people to fit mine without taking the mobo out of the case. Even just having screws that are about 1mil longer would have alleviated all of the frustration I had fitting this thing.
However, the aggro you get from the installation is certainly outweighed by the benefits of the cooler.
Here's my stats on a AMD FX-8350 Black
Stock Cooling, Stock 4Ghz clock:
Full Load 54C
CNPS9900 MAX, Stock 4Ghz clock:
Full Load 34C
CNPS9900 MAX, OC 4.7Ghz clock:
Full Load 47C
The difference that this cooler makes over stock for me is phenomenal and even though I would have knocked off stars for the drama of fitting it, the cooling performance I've received has made me forget all that. If you have the patience (or extra hands) to fit this cooler I can't recommend it highly enough (as well as the fact that it's smaller and much more space friendly than other coolers).
Well worth the purchase.

how did you get yours to 4.7ghz? I have same cpu and cooler and I can't get passed 4.35 ghz without increasing voltage loads and overheating on prime 95.

J. Wilson says:
I used catalyst control centre - running the auto OC dragged it up to 4.5 without increasing voltage. I got up to 4.7 by increasing by 0.1 Ghz and + 0.25v increments and testing each time to ensure a stable overclock. It ran fine under prime on a 4.8 OC for about 30 seconds before cores 5 through 8 failed but have been running the 4.7 OC no problem. The ambient temperature and air pressure within my case may be assisting it though - I have 2 Cooling fans besides the Zalman on pull-push which ensures a constant flow of cool air from the upper front to rear of case, with 3 intake on the low front and 2 extraction on top above the CPU. And I would also stress that correct thermal paste application is crucial
