I have to agree with other reviews that the box set is a let-down as regards info. The Christmas 1991 Special should have been between Series 7 & 8, but was shoved on the end of Series 9. Without a listing of episodes, I thought this one had been missed, only to find it when I viewed the last disc. Other than that, it was great to actually see the whole series in proper order for the first time. It made the storylines a lot clearer.

S. WOOD says:
The 1991 Christmas Special "A Bun In The Oven" is actually at the beginning of the series 8 disc where it should be.....

Not on mine it isn't. I have this set and the first episode on the Series 8 (disc one) is 'Arousing Suspicions'.

Likewise with mine. Just checked it a moment ago (it arrived less than an hour ago). My series 8 disc starts with Arousing Suspicions as well. And the final disc in the boxed set has the 1991 Christmas Special as the final episode of the boxed set. This is the new slim box packaging version. Not the old and large boxed set packaging. This is a poor display of information and respect to the show and it's fans. So when you go to start series 8 people. GO to the final disc in the box and watch the Xmas episode first. Then jump back to disc 1 of series 8. That is if you wish to watch it in the right order.
