My Favourite episode of Doctor Who ever, out off all its 45 year run it was that brillaint. Michelle Ryan joins the Doctor as companion Lady Christinia, who has also become my favourite companion beating series regulars Rose and Donna into second place. Michelle was spectacular as Christinia showing how briallant an actress she truly is. David Tennant was brillaint as always. I'll give you that the CGI wasn't as spectcaular in this episode as it normaly is, but they have to save up for the later specials. Russell T Davies; who gets a lot of stick off Doctor Who Classic Purist that can't get over the fact that Doctor Who has changed to fit the modern world, proves again what a great writer he is and I'll be sad to see him go.
So to sum it all up Planet of the Dead is a fantastic romp of a story making way for the darker later specials. It has the brillaint drama of Russell T Davies and the extremley funny comedy of Gareth Roberts. Dont listen to the Purist all the do is go from site to site moaning 247, do they have a life? make up your own mind.
10/10 - truly brillaint!!!
