5.0 out of 5 stars Definate purchase for your xbox music collection, 9 Sept. 2009
This review is from: The Beatles Rock Band (Xbox 360) (Video Game)
Like alot of people I have been a fan of the Beatles for a good while now even know I am an 80s child and they where a good while before me.
Now to the point, this game is amazing, if you like Rock band and the Beatles then you must get this game. Set list is great, visuals are very good and the extras that include pictures, videos and sound files are an excellent bonus.
The game works exactly as Rock band except the visuals are better and you can get access to all songs from the get go.
The only negative I would have is that they didnt include the most liked Beatles songs on the disc such as Hey Jude or Let it be (my fav), however im sure these are being kept for DLC and as the Beatles have so many great songs there are plenty on the disc.
With the announcments of DLC full albums being available over the next 3 months i know i will be spending alot of MS points.
If you own the xbox 360 instruments then this game is a must for your collection

Nice review, I'm well annoyed that my copy of the game didn't arrive today :-( Hopefully it will come tomorrow.

In case you didn't know, "All You Need Is Love" is already available to download to add to your track list.

Hey Jude and Let It Be are both played on the piano, you berk!

Yes i know that the majority of these two is on the piano but Let it be has a guitar solo in it you berk. Plus they have plenty of songs released on rock band that hardly have any guitar in them and they compensate for this by making you play the other instrument notes on your guitar.

Can you use the guitar hero guitar on rock band?
I know this will probably seem a daft question, but still, i dont know the answer.
Anyone willing to help a brother out?

Yes i use my Guitar from World tour with rock band games. Also the guitar hero drums and mic work on rock band games.

The wireless microphones from "Lips" can also be used in this game; I tried it last weekend and they worked brilliantly, so three-part harmonies could use these in conjunction with the wired USB one from GHWT.
