Average at best... Such a pity,
This review is from: Need for Speed Most Wanted (Xbox 360) (Video Game)
Having played all of the need for speed games before, and even completing the insult of "The Run" I was looking forward to them getting back to something rivalling "Undercover" at least.
The game is playable, and some aspects such as the "Easydrive Menu" are neat, although clunky at present, however
the game itself is visually and audibly flawed with little time given to obvious errors, such as having banners cross your screen mid race obscuring your view, and a voice over that is completely obscured by the music, even on the intro to the game.
I bought this game hoping to have that NFS have repaid my dedication to them for buying "The Run" and I am woefully let down.
Other errors include, but are by no means limited to, a serious lack of debugging, errors which leave you being stuck trying to find a "Most Wanted" opponent, and having "Most Wanted" opponents disappear and reappear in another position or even street are very common.
I wanted to give this a good review, I can see past many flaws in games which are pushing boundaries, but unfortunately for such a standard racing game to have so many flaws is just abysmal.
NFS you have let me down for the last time... AU REVOIR
