Not King's best work,
This review is from: The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon (Paperback)
I have been a fan of Stephen King for many years and have read most of his books. Most are brilliant, however, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon is not. King is always good, but this is a long way from his best work and almost felt like a bit of 'filler' between other novels.
The young girls at the centre of the story is believable and interesting. The subject matter plays on the fears of every parent in particular and every other person too. However, I felt that the supernatural aspects was a little deflated and this detracted from the enjoyment.
Worth 3 Stars but if you want to read Stephen King's books I'd put this one towards the bottom of the pile.....
