So far, this has proved robust. I'm using it following ulnar nerve surgery to increase the strength and flexibility of the fingers. The instructions in the packing suggest that you should squeeze it hard and hold it until it becomes uncomfortable and repeat three times daily. This wasn't doing the trick but simply squeezing it and massaging the ball in your grip is easy, relaxing and, according to my physiotherapist, is helping.
