Good all rounder,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: LG 32LA620V 32-inch Widescreen 1080p Full HD Cinema 3D Smart LED TV with Freeview HD/Built-In Wi-Fi (Electronics)
I finally received my LG after City Link messed up the delivery. It was very easy to set up and all seems to work ok. The picture and sound are excellent. The smart section is quick and is able to access and play my movies and video on my NAS. A couple of points are it is quite front heavy when on the stand so could easily be pulled by a child (LG do supply securing straps for this reason). Secondly at the time of purchase LG had an offer for a subscription to NOW TV. This was very easy to claim and set up, however, the NOW TV app (only on LG) is in BETA stage so is prone to a few hiccups and can crash. Hopefully an update to a full version is just around the corner. All in all, very pleased.

Just wondering did you buy the magic remote for it and if so is it worth buying ? This tv was on sale for £399 last week and i was going to wait until after christmas to see if it came down in price...but it's now only £350 and with all the positive reviews i am tempted to buy it now...or will the price come down even further...i wonder.....

First, it is easily worth the £399 I paid for it so up to you if you wait. Second, no I didn't bother with the magic remote. I was advised not to get too hung up on the Magic remote, it is just a gimmick. I tested it in Curry's and it seemed to not work properly (might have been set up wrong). Saying that, if a killer deal (£25!)is offered for the remote I may get one, but for now the normal remote works fine.

Thanks for the advice. I noticed at 3am this morning that the amazon price had gone back up to £399 again ! I had saved the tv in my basket whilst i slept on whether to buy it or to wait until the sales. There was a message in my basket referring to the change in price...i thought that once you had saved an item in your basket then you would have a certain amount of time to purchase it that price but obviously not ! A jump in price of almost £50 from one day to the next is a bit crazy...but shows how low in price amazon can go. I certainly will wait until i see it at £350 again...maybe cheaper on a sunday or something. Will not bother with the remote.

I also bought this TV recently (and CityLink also messed up my delivery!) and I also think you could probably get by perfectly well without the magic remote. The one that comes with the TV is excellent (pretty much everything is a single button-press away) and if you have a smartphone you can download a free app that allows you to navigate through the Smart function menus with a pointer like a mouse's.

Hard to believe the price has changed again but in the wrong direction for me. From an all time low of £351(and some pence) on Nov 10th to an all time high today Nov 26th of £449 If anybody reading this notices it back at £351 or lower then please reply to this post to let me know and i will do the same. I will also keep checking the John Lewis price where it comes with 5 years warranty. £351 was via amazon itself and not one of their third party sellers. UPDATE 29/11/13 Just managed to order this tv price £339 black friday deal.
