Good slow cooking book,
This review is from: Slow Cookers: The Slow Cooker Recipes You Must Have (Kitchen Classics series) (Paperback)
I received this book for christmas and it has tons of great recipes in it. Each recipe I've tried has been a success so far. The recipes are very simple and easy to follow and nothing needs pre frying or pre cooking, just stick everything straight in the device and leave for hours. The recipes are also easy to adapt to longer cooking times, so 5 hours on high or 10 hours on low.
The Australian ingredients mentioned are very few, only cilantro (coriander) and capsicum (pepper) so this doesn't really affect the use of the book.
The only criticism would be that the layout is very confusing so you have to rely on the index to find similar recipes, it would be better to have all poultry recipes together, then all pork, then all beef, rather than the layout that the book currently has.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has just got a slowcooker!
