Really great product,
This is a really great product as I can use it however it suits me. I position it on my windscreen but when I change cars, it sits very happily on the dashboard. The reason I like it over other similar products is being it is small and doesn't get in the way of my view for the road. Very happy indeed with this product. It does exactly what it claims to be able to do!

This review encouraged me to buy one and I'm also very pleased with it. To fit it on the dashboard there is an adhesive backed smooth plastic disc to which the sucker cup can attach. I experimented with position using blu-tack to temporarily position the disc - upside down as the plastic film on the adhesive won't stick properly to blu-tack any more than it does to the adhesive, but the sucker works fine on it - until I was confident with the positioning. I'm glad I did this, as the first place I thought was well positioned for a clear view and a good GPS signal through the windscreen, proved to be inconveniently far to reach to adjust the phone's GPS controls. Don't expect blu-tack to be anything more than a temporary trial position finding aid, though, as it won't hold a phone securely for long, especially when hot.

Anyone know what size device this will hold? No dimensions given. I have a 3 inch wide unit.
