For a relatively cheap laptop stand, it's pretty good. But it doesn't lift my laptop high enough! With Apple Mac laptops, you can only bend the screens back so far, and so to be able to still view the screen comfortably (i.e. not have it pointing towards me), I have to have the stand on a relatively low setting. I've ended up propping the front up with a couple of thick books, which kind of defeats the object really. Still, it's better than nothing.

Isn't that the fault of the macbook? I mean you'd have the same problem with any stand. TBH you could have figured this out before buying the stand as well, it's pretty obvious from looking at the stand how it's going to work and that it doesn't lift the front of your laptop (which you generally don't want anyway if you're going to type on it), and I'm sure you knew how little the laptop lid went back.
No offence, just seems like a bad reason to mark the stand down.
