Recordings don't get any better than this,
By A Customer
This review is from: Britten: The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra (Audio CD)
This recording of the Young person's guide to the orchestra takes you right into the concert hall, the excitment, invigoration and sheer power of the recording leaves you breathless.
The transition of music from live performance onto disc is not an easy one and only a handful of recordings achieve it - but this is one of them

R. Barlow says:
Amazon (routinely it sometimes appears) fails to state whether a music product is a CD or a DVD. It is not helpful to leave the buyer guessing, especially in regard to this particular music which Britten specifically wrote for the BBC Film Unit so that his music could be seen not simply heard. If Britten thought this important, why don't you? This is not the reviewer's fault, it is Amazon who should smarten their act.

This is (now, at least) clearly listed as an audio CD. Maybe it was not in the past.....
