This review is from: The Windows Command Line Beginner's Guide - Second Edition (Kindle Edition)
As you can see in the title this book is only good for beginners . I would really love to learn more about networking and remote management but this book only explains very basic functions. I suggest readin it to everyone as its short and straight to the point. I will now move to a much more advanced book. Unless you need windows comman line I would not suggest learning it to anyone. learn linux terminal as its the most powerful command line.

not necessarily true Linux is not for everyone and for people who need the command line I would suggest Powershell which is available on nearly all versions of windows

As I said if people use linux they don't need windows command line so no point learning it. But powershell if different to cmd. It's more advanced and not for everyone. cmd is very useful for every windows user as it makes some tasks much faster and some tasks even possible. I don't recommend poweshell unless you necessarily need it.
