This review is from: Exploring Resin Jewelry: Simple Techniques for 26 Projects (Paperback)
I was looking for a book to add to my growing library on resin and I certainly was not disappointed. Highly informative, helpful page by page with fabulous ideas that would easily get the creative juices flowing even with a total beginner.
All the projects fitted in with what I have planned for future projects, as well as pointing me to new ideas. The guide on the resins was helpful too, but this is the only drawback - its all aimed for the American market and most of the products at time of writing are not available in Europe. However, this should not put off readers as there are plenty of similar alternative around both on Amazon and in larger craft shops to enable you to start at once. The same applies for some of the bezels, available as imported ranges at independent bead shops.
If you are new to resin casting I thoroughly recommend this book, although there may be ideas for more experienced casters amongst you. If like me you find 'Ice cube tray' shapes rather unimaginative and want to push the envelope to develop your own quirky style, then the ideas in this book will soon get you exploring new techniques.
