Zombies invade Britain!,
This review is from: Dead Beat (Paperback)
I was lucky enough to read a pre-release copy of this after seeing lots of hype about it around the various Zombie forums. It certainly doesn't disappoint! The central character is a Bobby on the beat in a sleepy coastal town and when the preverbial hits the fan he desperately tries to maintain some semblance of order. This is more than a Zombie horror though - it has a deeply ingrained social commentry much like the best of the Romero films. The Zombies are far from the worst to be feared in Haven. It's fast-paced and hard to put down with buckets of gore. This is most definitely a must for Zombie fans (and for fans of good horror).
