4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Fun, 31 Oct. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: House of the Dead: Overkill - Extended Cut (PS3) (Video Game)
Played this on the Wii so an HD version was something I wanted to play. Move works really well and you can use any gun attachment as you reload by just jolting the move remote so no having to touch buttons apart from the trigger and throwing the odd grenade.

One pleasant surprise in keeping with the 'B' movie presentation is that the 3D is both in stereoscopic i.e. the new method or for those of us with just HD TV's you can play in anaglyphic 3D. The game comes with 2 pairs of coloured glasses. So a 3D game without the need for a 3D TV. I will be honest though it just confirmed what I personally always think about 3D. Fun for 5 minutes then my eyes just get tired.

If you enjoy adult over the top cheesy humorous dialogue and blasting zombies then this is a must buy.

Its a good review mate but take it from me, anaglyph 3D is nowhere near as good as stereoscopic 3D and before i got my 3Dtv i felt the same about 3D as you (didnt get the tv for 3D) but now im addicted to playing 3D games, especially with PS Move like Killzone 3. Its so amazing seeing the added depth and im now firmly in the pro 3D camp.

@Paul Swift You just made me very jealous - I need to get a 3D TV! Love Killzone 3 - would love to try it in 3D.

@Paul Swift I now have a 3D TV and have just played Killzone 3 in 3D with Palystation sharpshooter. And you are right. It's pretty amazing! Almost feels like playing any other way now is a bit of a let down. I think I'm gonna order HOTD now too. :)
