This review is from: The Fantastic Mr Wani (Paperback)
This has to be one of the stupidest books for children that I have ever come across and that's taking the kids-don't-care factor in to consideration. It's just all over the place and honestly, I thought I was reading a book written by a seven year old. There are so many wonderful books for children out there that flow beautifully. This is not one of them. Yes I know children like silly but there's a difference between silly and plain stupid.

The reviewer who cannot appreciate this book is sadly missing the point about a fun and absolutely hilarious and engagingly illustrated book. My child and I enjoyed this book so much we had it checked out from the library 4 times and relucantly returned them every single time until she finds it again. To call it 'plain stupid' is harsh and perhaps lacking in a certain 'humour' for life...Not everything needs to have a deep or multiple meaning for children/ adult to enjoy. The simplest things are usually the best things in life as proven in the case of Mr Wani!
