This a no star film. Utterly utterly without redemption. From the ludicrous script to the absurd leading mans overlarge shiny white teeth. Plastic "tin" helmets that are not the correct shape and are too small for the head. Part of the film is a Canadian tourist board advert. Do not buy it and any reviews that say you should are plants. A. Mcfarlane-slack says:
Thanks for the heads up. I bought this in Tesco yesterday having never heard of the movie. My great uncle (Scotsman) died of wounds during third Ypres and I was hoping it might be of interest. I decided to look up some reviews before I watched it, thinking the hype on the pack hinted at a really naff movie.
I'm not going to watch it and have decided to use it as a coffee coaster.

You are wrong. Firstly I'm nobody's plant. Secondly, the tin hats are correct - they varied through WW1 with Canada either getting 'old stock' or making their own. (read wikipedia & get some facts mr lewis). And yes - people had shiny teeth even then, they arnt a modern invention.
Great film - shame on you.
