This review is from: The Complete Machine Quilting Manual (Paperback)
As this book was specifically about machine quilting rather than a general introduction to making quilts much of the first half was wasted on how to make a quilt. The pages actually on machine quilting were good but I felt a little cheated by the title

GM Harlow says:
I tend to think of quilting and patchwork as two separate techniques. First you do the patchwork then you quilt it. Therefore I disagree with this review. The title does not appear to be misleading. I expect it to be all about quilting, not patchwork.

That is what the reviewer was commenting on. I too expect a title of machine quilting to be specifically that, not the patchwork beforehand. Having read the initial review, I shall not contemplate buying this, as I have many books showing me how to do the patchwork quilt.
