I do like recipe books as I'm not one who has a jumble of ingredients and can make a masterpiece.This book, as per it's title, has a slant towards 'low fat' You can often equate low fat with low taste, unappetising, and boring. This recipe ideas book doesn't follow that format. The recipes I tried were very flavoursome, looked lovely and were low in fat which is good for your heart and should lower your cholesterol. The format is lovely: Recipe with picture opposite. Although it is a low fat cookbook, it can make you more hungry. I found just flicking through the book and drooling at the pictures made me hungrier. Maybe that's just me. It's also quite pretty with it's well taken photographs and reasonably priced. Recommended. |
